Description

HelloFresh is hiring a Senior Mobile Product Engineer for its Menu Discovery squad in Warsaw, within HelloTech, the company's global technology organisation of 1000+ people. The squad owns the customer experience that helps millions of people find and customise meals across brands and markets, running on React Native apps for iOS and Android with federated GraphQL. The role blends deep mobile engineering with product ownership: engineers own customer problems end to end, from RFC to production, using AI tooling as a force multiplier.

Responsibilities

Lead the app experience and own metrics of mobile customer quality: retention, crash-free sessions, conversion
Take features from RFC to production, rolling them out gradually across markets with feature flags
Measure impact through analytics events and A/B tests
Work beyond your specialization when the problem demands it
Instrument, monitor and improve systems in production
Help shape architecture across the tribe: navigation, state management, module boundaries
Validate problems with customers and data, then ship using AI as a force multiplier

Requirements

Hands-on experience with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation, using AI agents every day
Practical sense of how context provided to AI tools shapes output quality and how to set boundaries on AI-generated work
Deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript
Proven ability to design, build and operate high-traffic consumer mobile apps used by millions
Clear understanding of the impact on software architecture, dependencies and business value
Deep mobile engineering expertise across the app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance and platform UX conventions
Full ownership, bias to ship and finishing the last twenty percent
Product sense with opinions backed by data and user evidence

Conditions

Collaboration with experienced engineers and product partners across international teams
Building and operating modern systems at global scale for 6+ million customers
Driving best practices and influencing architecture, design and ways of working in an autonomous product-led setup
End-to-end delivery from problem definition to production
Access to workspace at Warsaw Centre Point with modern facilities
