Description

Cirql One is building an enterprise semantic intelligence layer above SAP that makes business meaning explicit, trusted and actionable for AI models and agents. The Senior Product Designer owns the platform's UI layer and design foundations, defining how semantic models, metrics, governance rules and data lineage are represented, versioned and navigated. The role combines hands-on product design, user research and usability testing with enterprise customers, and close collaboration with engineering from early concept to shipped product.

Responsibilities

Own the UI layer: define how semantic models, metrics, governance rules and data lineage are represented, versioned and navigated
Build and maintain the design system, visual language and component library, keeping design and code in sync with engineering
Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable interaction patterns for data engineers and business stakeholders alike
Work directly with engineering and product from early concept to shipped product, without handoffs
Design interfaces where humans and AI think together: natural language exploration, structured reasoning, governed outputs
Conduct user research and usability testing with enterprise customers and translate findings into design decisions
Articulate design rationale confidently across technical and non-technical contexts: founders, engineers and customers

Requirements

7+ years of product design experience, including 4+ years on complex B2B software: data platforms, developer tools or analytics applications
Systems thinking: ability to design coherent patterns at scale and break a large design vision into shippable pieces
Self-direction: comfort as the sole designer, setting own priorities and seeking critique from engineers, product and customers
Strong portfolio with end-to-end process from research and problem framing to interaction design and high-fidelity execution
AI-first by default: comfortable prototyping with AI tools and in code, team uses Claude Code heavily
Experience building interfaces where humans and AI collaborate on complex tasks
Direct track record of working with engineering through the build cycle rather than as a handoff
Ability to articulate design rationale precisely to engineers and non-technical stakeholders and adapt to feedback
Strong plus: background in data visualisation, dashboard design or developer-facing tools
Strong plus: experience designing natural language or AI-assisted interfaces

Conditions

Hybrid work format
Competitive compensation reflecting the seniority and impact of the role
Reports to the Head of R&D, with product direction shaped directly with the CTPO and CEO
Full transparency: everyone knows what is being built and how the business is doing, no filtered updates
