Description

ECAIR finances the energy transformation for construction companies, turning quotes into tailored funding plans with advances and monthly payments tied to energy savings. The Senior Product Designer owns the product design and the design system, reporting directly to one of the co-founders. The role covers two problem areas: making financing a simple sales argument, and underwriting where in-house AI agents and humans collaborate on a single interface.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for product design, its coherence, and keep the design system alive
Spend time with users regularly: salespeople, ops teams, client admin teams
Take a real part in journey design with Product Managers and Product Engineer, from problem framing to final interface
Prototype fast to test an idea before specifying it
Verify the product is used as intended after features are in production
Let construction companies offer financing to their customers in minutes without prior financial expertise
Make AI agents and humans collaborate on a single interface to track every project from start to finish

Requirements

At least 6 years of product design experience, including B2B products with complex journeys (fintech, tools, workflows)
Have already led the design of a product, or substantial parts of a product, alone
Enjoy talking to users and able to recount a conversation that changed what you would build
Look at what happens after release to verify product hypotheses hold — or not
Be an AI-augmented designer: fast prototyping, feedback consolidation, autonomous delivery of small changes
