Description
An Insurtech founded in Berlin in 2016 builds innovative SaaS solutions for the insurance industry and is looking for a Senior Product Designer. The role owns the end-to-end design of complex B2B SaaS workflows, covering UX, usability and the visual form of the product. The work spans user research, prototyping, interaction design, design system development and precise handover to engineering. Fluent German and English at minimum C1 level are mandatory.

Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of the design of complex B2B SaaS workflows
Carry full ownership for UX, usability and form of the product
Continuously validate user needs through interviews, usability tests and prototypes before development begins
Design complex user flows, wireframes and a scalable information architecture for data-intensive interfaces
Think through and design use cases such as claims cases, workflow builders and admin panels
Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes and actively further develop the design system
Ensure absolute consistency across data-intensive UIs with tables, filters and forms
Use current AI tools such as Figma Make and Claude to translate user needs into top-tier UX faster
Actively keep your own toolset up to date in a rapidly changing field
Deeply immerse yourself in the insurance domain and continuously help expand the internal knowledge base
Deliver precise specs to engineering for assets, spacing, edge cases and states
Consistently champion the user's perspective internally with a focus on efficiency and error avoidance
Make configuration-heavy tools intuitive, consistent and effective
Requirements
Fluent German and English skills at a minimum of C1 level, both written and spoken
Strong communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders
