Description

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank, fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm, building the future of financial life with AI at the core. As Senior Product Manager you join the Sentinel squad in Copenhagen and report to the Product Director for Compliant Growth. The focus is moving financial crime prevention from reactive, time-based checks to real-time, event-driven fraud and risk detection so the bank can grow safely without growing Ops headcount. The role sits at the intersection of risk, compliance, data and engineering, translating complex regulatory requirements into risk scoring, transaction monitoring and fraud detection products that actually ship.

Responsibilities

Co-create the strategic direction and roadmap for risk scoring, transaction monitoring and fraud detection products with FCP domain experts within MLRO regulatory requirements
Drive the shift from reactive, time-based checks to real-time, event-driven detection of risk and fraud
Own backlog prioritization and delivery planning together with engineering and flag deadline risks early and clearly
Partner with engineering and data science to move retail detection toward a sharper mix of rules and models
Build trust and clarity across the FCP, Risk, Compliance, Commercial and Engineering stakeholder landscape

Requirements

Deep experience in financial crime prevention: transaction monitoring, fraud detection, AML or risk scoring gained in a regulated environment
Solid product management experience with a track record of owning and shipping complex technical products end-to-end
Comfortable partnering with regulatory owners like an MLRO or Compliance function to co-create strategy and roadmap rather than working around them
Strong stakeholder management and diplomatic judgment with steadiness in a genuinely complex multi-stakeholder environment
Curiosity about event-driven risk models and a desire to move detection from static rules toward data-driven approaches

Conditions

Four days a week in the office in Copenhagen as part of the team's working model
State of the art equipment: the newest computer, monitor, mouse and keyboard
Pension, health insurance and enhanced parental leave
Employment is conditional upon not being registered in RKI (Ribers Kredit Information)
