Work mode is hybrid with 3 days per week in the office from September/October 2026; 3 FTE positions are open in Gdansk/Gdynia or Warsaw.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing automated tests for APIs, integration processes and data flows
Developing and maintaining existing test automation frameworks
Contributing to defining and evolving the automation strategy and designing scalable maintainable test frameworks
Creating regression tests and integrating them with CI/CD processes
Supporting the rollout of the "Automation First" approach
Collaborating with developers, analysts, Product Owners and the other MDM ART teams
Supporting automation of both new features and existing products

Using AI and GitHub Copilot to increase test automation efficiency
Mentoring less experienced team members in the area of test automation

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of documented experience in software test automation, preferably in complex enterprise environments
QA methodology — test planning and design, execution, defect management, regression testing and continuous quality improvement
Designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
Test automation with Java 17+, object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles and POJO-based patterns for readable maintainable test code
Hands-on experience with the Java API testing stack: REST Assured for HTTP-level tests, JUnit 5 for lifecycle management and parameterization, Lombok to reduce boilerplate
Understanding of REST architecture (resources, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON/XML payloads) and SOAP/WSDL contracts, with the ability to design tests verifying both protocols
Practical experience testing REST and SOAP APIs, integration flows, backend services and data distribution processes
Experience with test reporting tools, especially Allure — attaching request/response evidence, categorizing errors and preparing readable reports for stakeholders
Strong SQL query skills and database testing, including data validation and verification of backend processes
Testing integration solutions including asynchronous flows, Kafka-based integrations, data pipelines and event-driven architecture
Practical knowledge of test and defect management tools, especially qTest and Jira
Strong Git skills — branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based development), pull request workflow, code review and conflict resolution
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins and/or Bamboo, including configuration and maintenance of test jobs, pipeline stages and result publishing
Knowledge of agile working methods including Scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives and collaboration with Product Owners, developers, analysts and other QA specialists
Very good command of English with the ability to clearly present test scope, risks, defects, automation progress and quality recommendations
Ability to work in a cross-functional team with focus on business value, solution quality and continuous improvement
Proactive approach and a desire to help build an "Automation First" culture in the team
Experience preparing and maintaining test evidence, reporting automation results and documenting test coverage
Nice to have: knowledge and practical experience in UI testing with Selenium or Playwright
