Description

The Tech Lead Mobile iOS/Android role is aimed at leading a complete redesign of the mobile application, ensuring an optimal user experience and integrating new technologies while maintaining a robust technical architecture. The position combines ownership of the iOS and Android application architecture, mobile BFF development in .NET and C# on Azure, and work with Product, Design and Marketing teams

Responsibilities

Being the guarantor of the application architecture of the iOS and Android platforms
Designing and developing the mobile BFF in .NET and C# on Azure
Securing the predictability of releases on the App Store and the Play Store
Supporting iOS and Android engineers in growing their skills
Translating platform constraints for the Product, Design and Marketing teams

Requirements

Significant experience in iOS development in Swift on consumer apps in production, including SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency
Real mastery of the native Android ecosystem in Kotlin, sufficient to arbitrate architecture and challenge the team's choices
Ability to develop server-side in .NET and C#, and design services exposed in an Azure cloud environment
Practice in designing APIs consumed by mobile clients: granularity, pagination, error handling, versioning and backward compatibility
Experience with transactional journeys: strong authentication, push notifications, capture and sending of media/documents, degraded mode
Confirmed practice of mobile tooling: build automation, signing and provisioning, automated testing, distribution and publication on both stores
Knowledge of Flutter or React Native
Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace or ELK
Understanding of CI/CD methodologies
