Description

A pet-care technology company is hiring a Technical Program Manager II to support its Developer Experience and Client Platform teams. The position is hybrid, based around Barcelona, with a first-year salary range of €51 837–62 832.

Responsibilities

Develop program roadmaps with engineering managers, turning priorities into objectives, sequencing and success measures
Run the delivery cadence, keep dependencies visible, identify risks early and escalate with context
Lead highest-impact initiatives across Developer Experience and Client Platform, including work between the teams
Communicate platform changes to engineers, PMs, designers and analysts, including what is shipping and what is coming
Drive adoption of shipped platforms and tooling among internal engineering users
Run feedback loops with developers and internal users, turning messy input into prioritized recommendations
Surface duplication of capabilities and help teams consolidate to one better version
Define and report adoption, cycle time, release health and developer satisfaction metrics
Do own data discovery to find the signal instead of waiting for a dashboard
Maintain project plans, status updates and documentation that teams can find and use
Propose process changes that fix inefficiencies across teams and their partners

Requirements

4–6 years driving technical projects and programs in platform, developer tooling or client engineering
Experience delivering platforms or internal tooling for engineering users and driving adoption
Technical fluency in CI/CD, development environments, mobile release paths, web platforms and edge routing
Ability to aggregate needs across many teams into a clear, prioritized recommendation
Experience naming duplication where teams built the same capability and driving consolidation
Experience communicating technical change to engineers, PMs, designers and analysts
Strong program management fundamentals: plans, status processes, success metrics and clear escalation
Sourcing own data for metrics rather than waiting for a ready dashboard
Hands-on experience applying AI to own work with a clear view of its leverage
Nice to have: mobile release management or modern client architecture such as React Native, Next.js, design systems or Cloudflare
Nice to have: exposure to AI-native engineering tooling such as coding agents or MCP integrations
Nice to have: experience working across European and US teams in a globally distributed organization
