The writer crafts blog posts, SEO and feature pages, user stories and release notes, working with the SEO specialist and closely with product and marketing. The role includes real input on what gets published, proactive hunting for stories instead of waiting for briefs, and running the content calendar with the team.

Responsibilities

Write blog posts that people actually finish, on a steady schedule
Write, optimize and refresh SEO and feature pages with the SEO specialist: keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization and internal linking
Find and write user stories: talk to users, get permission and turn what they tell you into true, specific stories
Proactively hunt for stories and use cases across the product, community and team
Work closely with product and marketing so your writing keeps pace with launches
Write the release notes for every update in plain words users will actually read
Run the content calendar with the team: what's next, what's late, what's working
Keep the voice consistent across the site, the blog and any product copy you touch
