Description

Think Ahead Education, a group working in the British and IB education systems, is hiring a Digital Growth & Paid Media Manager to own qualified lead generation across its whole digital ecosystem. The newly created role spans website and landing page conversion, paid media, the SEO and GEO programme, analytics and the CRM flow from enquiry to sales, across Academy, Online, University Guidance and B2B lines. Success is judged by commercial results, cost per qualified lead and enrolments, rather than form fills. The position sits within a marketing department undergoing professionalisation and reports directly to the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

Own qualified lead generation across the whole digital ecosystem: websites, landing pages, paid media, organic, measurement and CRM flow
Own thinkaheadeducation.com, landing pages, forms and CTAs as commercial assets, spotting friction and shipping improvements with the in-house developer and partners
Run paid media on Google (Search, PMax, YouTube, Demand Gen), Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, plus programmatic and DOOH at peak season
Run three always-on lines (Brand, Performance and University Guidance) in Spanish and English, starting in Madrid and expanding to Spain and international markets
Shift budget with performance and the academic calendar, and test new channels with clear stop and scale rules
Turn external SEO and GEO specialists' recommendations into an internal plan that ships, and lead the blog and resources for British and IB families
Govern analytics from GA4, GTM, Search Console and CRM dashboards, tracking cost per qualified lead, lead-to-enrolment conversion, CAC, LTV and channel contribution
Own lead qualification, handover to sales and nurturing by email and WhatsApp in Zoho CRM, meeting sales regularly
Set the editorial strategy for parents, students, international families and schools, leading the in-house creative team and outside partners
Bring digital capture and measurement to open days, fairs and partner schools, and open new channels with priority on international markets
Use Claude where it adds real value in content, creative, funnel analysis and personalisation without compromising quality or brand
Set strategy and creative direction while external specialists execute against your brief

Requirements

4+ years in digital marketing with direct responsibility for lead generation and commercial results, ideally in education or another high-value decision sector
Hands-on building and optimising Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen) and Meta campaigns, including audiences, remarketing, creative testing and budget reallocation
Deep understanding of the funnel: how a lead becomes a customer and where it gets lost on the landing page, in the form or in the follow-up
Comfort with measurement: GA4, GTM, Google Search Console and dashboards as everyday tools, including auditing tracking setups and spotting attribution problems
Knowledge of SEO, GEO and analytics enough to brief, challenge and evaluate an agency's work and turn recommendations into a shipping plan
Strong CRM skills: building workflows, segmenting audiences and pulling reports yourself
Experience building and running a content strategy with a clear point of view on brand, message and design
Track record of productive partnership with sales teams
International experience taking a service to audiences in other countries and adapting message, channels and timing
Sharp hands-on daily use of Claude for drafting content, analysing funnel data, building campaigns and automation
Proven experience marketing to international audiences or an online cross-border service
Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written
A plus: university degree, ideally in Marketing or a related field
A plus: hands-on knowledge of the British or IB system, through work or study
A plus: experience with Zoho CRM or comparable platform, marketing automation tools and AI applied to marketing
A plus: experience with Looker Studio, Astro or WordPress and basic video editing for campaign adaptations
A plus: experience running or coordinating events such as open days, information sessions and fairs
