The company is reshaping electronics manufacturing with a factory-scale robotics platform that makes small-batch, high-mix assembly radically more efficient, and has raised $45M from Plural, Y Combinator and Google Ventures while already being profitable. It is hiring a front-end engineer who will own customer-facing web apps, internal data-heavy dashboards and operator screens on the factory floor, together with the design system. Pay is £80k–£125k in the UK or $125k–$250k in the US depending on experience, plus equity.

Responsibilities

Shape the customer experience across upload, quoting, ordering and the board viewer
Build internal tools: an admin dashboard running purchasing, planning, recruiting and AI agents
Make dense, data-heavy internal screens clear and fast to work with
Design screens operators read at a glance while robots move around them on the factory floor
Own the design system and bring brand, components and patterns together across web apps and machine screens
Design how people review, steer and trust the work of AI agents

Requirements

Shipped full-featured web apps in TypeScript and React, with examples you can show
Strong eye for design across both UI and UX; a portfolio matters more than a job title
Experience owning a product end to end, from talking to users to deploying
Comfort using coding agents to move faster and take full ownership of their output

Compensation of £80k–£125k in the UK or $125k–$250k in the US depending on experience
